John Friedel

John joins EyeSouth Partners coming from the specialty of anesthesia, holding both senior and executive-level positions in operations for multiple national practice management companies, where he led successful growth initiatives, improved processes, enhanced physician and APP relationships, and built cohesive, collaborative teams. Earlier in his career, John led a respected, multi-location, full-service, ophthalmology practice, and was an operational consultant to a well-known refractive surgery practice and ASC. He also started HCA’s first physician practice management company, and led a series of laser surgery centers, where he was recognized nationally for his accomplishments.
John earned a bachelor’s in business administration from St. John’s University, a master’s in management from Tulane University, and Board Certification as a Certified Medical Practice Executive from the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
