John Bennett
Head of M&A and Business Development
John serves as EyeSouth’s Head of M&A and Business Development. In this role, he leads EyeSouth’s acquisitive growth through affiliations with like-minded eye practices across the country. He believes strongly in physician alignment and the spirit of partnership and brings a passion for supporting and investing in practice growth post-affiliation.
Prior to joining EyeSouth, John was VP of Strategic Partnerships with United Digestive, a GI-focused management services organization, where he executed strategic initiatives including practice affiliations, ancillary services expansion and ASC joint venture partnerships. Prior to United Digestive, John was VP of M&A and Corporate Development for SENTA Partners, a multispecialty ENT and allergy business.
Earlier in his career, John worked in principal investing at H.I.G. Capital, a global private equity fund, and in investment banking at Stephens, Inc. In his free time, John loves to spend time with his kids, traveling and trying new foods.
